AKG has created a new pair of in-ear headphones, which the company says can provide studio-quality audio for a price of $1000. The new AKG N5005 headphones have been showcased at CES 2018 this week and have been certified with Japan Audio Society “Hi-Res Audio”, meaning that you will be able to “enjoy the subtlest nuances of studio-quality sound in higher-than-CD quality resolution,” says AKG parent company Harman International.
The in-ear headphones come supplied with four interchangeable sound filters allowing users to tune the audio to provide precise Bass Boost, Reference Sound, Semi-High Boost and High Boost. Equipped with five 9.2mm + Quad BA audio drivers and two sets of “high-quality” detachable twist cables. On a full charge, the headphones are capable of providing up to 8 hours of listening when used wirelessly And includes a three-button remote and microphone Bluetooth dongle if required. The presentation box also comes complete with cleaning tools, interchangeable ear tips and more.
