Design company Anhomie have created a unique space-saving piece of furniture called the Aiko which is capable of transforming from a table into shelves allowing you to free up space in the centre of your room. Launched via Kickstarter this week the Aiko is now available to back from $299 or roughly £232, offering a considerable 52% saving off the recommended retail price. Worldwide shipping is expected to take place during June 2019 if the campaign is successful in manufacturing progresses smoothly.
The unique folding designed allows for a number of different semi and fully folded combinations allowing for completely upright shelves, slightly angled or completely flat table. Constructed from multilayer plywood and steel the furniture is easily assembled using a screwdriver.
