The other day we heard about a new tablet from Acer, the Iconia Tab A510, which is rumored to come with NVIDIA’s new quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Now, it appears Acer has another quad-core tablet in the works.
The guys over at Notebook Italia have discovered some details on another new tablet that will use a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 and the Iconia Tab A701. The two model numbers relate to a WiFi-only version and a WiFi and 3G version of the same device.
High-Resolution Display
What makes this new Acer tablet particularly interesting is that it is expected to come with a 10-inch touchscreen display, which is a full HD display with a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. This high resolution means it will be able to handle full HD video in 1080p, providing users with an exceptional viewing experience. This would make the new Acer Iconia Tab A700 one of the highest resolution tablets available on the market.
The high-resolution display is not just about watching videos; it also enhances the overall user experience. Whether you are browsing the web, playing games, or reading e-books, the clarity and sharpness of the display will make everything look more vibrant and detailed. This is particularly beneficial for graphic designers and photographers who need a portable device with a high-quality display for their work.
Performance and Connectivity
The inclusion of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor is another significant feature of the Acer Iconia Tab A700 and A701. The Tegra 3 is a quad-core processor, which means it has four cores to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This results in faster performance and smoother multitasking. Whether you are running demanding applications or switching between multiple apps, the Tegra 3 processor ensures that everything runs smoothly.
In addition to the powerful processor, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 and A701 are expected to come with various connectivity options. The A700 will be a WiFi-only model, making it ideal for users who primarily use their tablets at home or in places with WiFi access. On the other hand, the A701 will include both WiFi and 3G connectivity, making it a more versatile option for users who need internet access on the go.
The tablets are also expected to come with a range of other features, including a high-quality camera for taking photos and videos, ample storage space for all your files and apps, and a long-lasting battery to keep you going throughout the day. These features make the Acer Iconia Tab A700 and A701 suitable for a wide range of users, from casual users to professionals.
As soon as we get more details on when the device is expected to launch, we will let you guys know. The anticipation for these new tablets is high, and it will be interesting to see how they compare to other tablets on the market once they are released.
