It looks like another company may have some new tablets using NVIDIA’s new quad core Tegra 3 processor in the works, this time it is Acer and the tablets are reported to be called the Acer Iconia Tab A510 and A511.
According to the guys over at Notebook Italia, references to an Acer Iconia Tab A510 and A511 have appeared on Acer’s support site, and both tablets also have references to the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
Unfortunately we don’t as yet have any actual specifications on either device, although it looks like the Iconia Tab A510 is a WiFi only tablet, whilst the Iconia Tab A511 is a WiFi and 3G tablet.
We suspect we will see both of these new NVIDIA Tegra 3 tablets from Acer at next year in January at CES, and they will probably come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
