GoPro users with access to a 3D printer may be interested in a new DIY GoPro gimbal which has been created by Thingiverse member SOexpired. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the project which uses a Mini Alexmos 2-axis brushless gimbal controller BGC V3.5 DRV8313 motor driver available to purchase priced at around $16.
The gimbal frame used in the project takes the form of the shock-absorbing phantom available to purchase priced at $23 from online stores such as AliExpress and the like. The 3D printed handle and camera mount when combined with the purchase items provide an affordable GoPro gimbal which can be controlled and handheld.
