Shoppers looking at the 2020 Range Rover will have new powertrain options to choose from that is a mild hybrid. The new powertrain uses the turbo 3.0L inline-six that was first seen in in the Range Rover Sport HST. Rover is making that engine available in other models in the range.
The engine uses a 48V mild-hybrid system with an electric supercharger to add power as the turbos spool up. There will be two versions of the powertrain with different tunes. The P360 will get 355 horsepower and will be the base engine for the vehicle.
The P400 gets 396 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. That engine is a $5,250 premium over the P360. Starting prices for the P360 are $92,195 with starting price for the P400 at $97,445.
