Dodge has rolled out a new factory-built drag racing car that is meant for use in sportsman class racing sanctioned by the NHRA and NMCA. The car is the 2020 Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, and it is a track-only drag racer designed to run the quarter-mile.
Production will be limited to only 50 units, and for now, there is no mention of pricing or when the cars can be ordered. Power comes from a supercharged 354ci HEMI V8, and performance is a mystery.
What we do know is that the car has an SFI-approved roll cage integrated into the body that is certified for 7.5-second ETs. The car also has all sorts of racing hardware, including a 3-speed transmission and racing brakes along with wheelie bars and a parachute mount.
