Ford has announced that the GT350 will carry over to 2019 as will the GT350R. While the GT350R carries over unchanged, the normal GT350 gets some mild updates. Ford says that those updates improve precision and balance to deliver faster lap times and performance on the track and the street.
Performance enhancements include drag reducing aero tweaks with a new spoiler with an available Gurney flap installed. The car will rolls on custom Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and gets chassis and antilock brake turning for improved grip.
The new tires are 295/35 front and 305/35 rear fitted on new 19-inch aluminum wheels. The grille also gains an optimized closeout that was developed in the wind tunnel. Updates to MagneRide active suspension were made. The 5.2L V8 engine makes 526hp and 429 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual.
