A previous rumor had suggested that we would have to wait until 2019 to see an iPhone X Plus with triple rear cameras. According to a recent report the camera could launch in this years model.
We heard earlier that Samsung is planning to launch a triple camera in their new Galaxy S10 next January, so it could be possible that Apple has changed its plans and is launching their new camera this year.
We are expecting to see three new iPhone X handsets this year. A 5.8 inch iPhone X and a 6.5 inch iPhone X Plus, both with OLED displays. We are also expecting to see a cheaper iPhone X with a 6.1 inch LCD display.
The design of this years iPhone is expected to be similar to the existing iPhone X, this years handsets will have a notch at the top, this is something that Apple is rumored to be ditching in 2019.
We are also expecting the handsets to come with iOS 12, this will be made official at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference this week. We can also expect a new processor and more RAM than the current device.
If this rumor is correct then we would expect the LCD iPhone X to have a single rear camera, the 5.8 inch iPhone X a dual rear camera and the X Plus a triple rear camera. We are expecting these new handset to launch some time in September or October.
