Last week we heard that TalkTalk had suffered a major cyber attack and that customers information, including name, address and some credit card information has been taken in the attack.
Now police in Northern Ireland have arrested a 15 year old boy in County Antrim in connection with the attack on TalkTalk.
The 15 year old as arrested on suspicion of the Computer Misuse Act offenses, he had now been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The police are still looking into the matter, so it is not clear as yet on whether the 15 year old in question was responsible for the attack on his own, or whether he was working with someone else.
The hacking on TalkTalk is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Unit, Police Service of Northern Ireland and National Crime Agency.
