We have been hearing rumors for a while that this years new MacBook Pro range will feature an ultra thin design, similar to that of Apple’s MacBook Air.
The last thing we heard that these new MacBook Pro’s would be available some time in April, and now according to a recent report by Digitimes, they have apparently gone into production.
Production for the next-generation MacBook Pro has already begun with shipments to Apple kicking off in March, the sources noted. Monthly shipments will eventually climb to 900,000 units from the 100,000-150,000 units targeted initially, the sources said.
The new ultra thin MacBook Pro range is also rumored to come with Intel’s new Ivy Bridge processor, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
