Last month, we saw some leaked press renders of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, and now it seems that we may get to see the tablet launch in the coming weeks.
According to a new rumor from the Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin, Samsung is expected to hold an event on September 1st for the launch of the Galaxy Tab S3.
It’s worth mentioning that Eldar Murtazin has a shaky track record when it comes to rumors and leaked information so a grain of salt is recommended. Although there’s a possibility that we may get to see a new tablet from Samsung at IFA 2016 in Berlin as the company is set to launch the Galaxy Note 7 a month earlier.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to come with an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 processor. Other rumored features include 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot for expansion, an 8MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, a 4,000 mAh battery and should ship with Android Marshmallow out of the box.
We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about the upcoming tablet from Samsung.
