The Samsung Galaxy Xcover, which is a rugged Android smartphone was announced back in August, and now it looks like the device will go on sale here in the UK next month.
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover is certified by the iP7 standard, which means it is protected from dust, water up to one meter and drops and knocks, and it will come with Android Gingerbread.
The Galaxy Xcover features a 3.65 inch touchscreen display that is covered in scratch resistant and tempered glass, it also features a 3.2 megapixel camera with and LED flash which can also be used as a flashlight.
UK retailer Handtec has started taking pre-orders on the device, and it will be available SIM free in the UK from December for £224.39, about $350.
