Samsung’s Galaxy range of smartphones have been a massive success for the company, with the recent launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S III, the new handset is expected to be Samsung’s most popular smartphone to date.
We previously heard that Samsung may have sold as many as 9 million pre-orders of the Galaxy S III, and now according to a recent report Samsung is expected to sell around 15 million handsets in quarter three of 2012.
According to the report, Samsung sold 6.5 million Galaxy S III devices in the period between April and June, when the device launched, so that should mean that Samsung would end up selling over 21 million Galaxy S III devices by the end of quarter three.
It will be interesting to see what the figures are like when we get some official ones from Samsung, we suspect this could end up being their most popular handset launch to date.
