We previously heard that Samsung may have sold as many as 9 million pre-orders of the Galaxy S III, and now according to a recent report Samsung is expected to sell around 15 million handsets in quarter three of 2012.

According to the report, Samsung sold 6.5 million Galaxy S III devices in the period between April and June, when the device launched, so that should mean that Samsung would end up selling over 21 million Galaxy S III devices by the end of quarter three.
