Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Edition Launching 30th September For $249

Star Wars fans who have been waiting to get their hands on the limited edition of the Motorola Droid 2, the R2-D2 themed version will be happy to know that it will go on sale from the 30th of September 2010.

The Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Edition will be available for $249 from selected Verizon stores and also from their online store.

The Droid 2 R2-D2 edition features the exact same hardware as the original Droid 2, it comes with an R2-D2 themed body as wells as R2-D2 notification sounds and ringtones.

There are also four live R2-D2 themed wallpapers, an R2-D2 clock widget and four live wallpapers, it will go on sale on the 30th of September.
