The last time we heard about HP’s unreleased webOS tablet, the HP TouchPad Go, the device had appeared on eBay, and now the guys from webOS Nation have released a video review of the tablet, which you can see below.
HP TouchPad Go: A Closer Look
The HP TouchPad Go was an intriguing device that unfortunately never saw a full commercial release. Designed to be a more compact version of the original HP TouchPad, the TouchPad Go featured a 7-inch display, making it more portable and easier to handle. This smaller size was aimed at competing with other 7-inch tablets on the market at the time, such as the Amazon Kindle Fire and the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Under the hood, the TouchPad Go was powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which provided a smooth and responsive user experience. It also came with 1GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, which was quite competitive for its time. The device ran on HP’s webOS, an operating system that was praised for its intuitive user interface and multitasking capabilities.
