Asus O!Play HD2 Network Media Player

Asus has added another network media player to their O!Play range, with the launch of the Asus O!Play HD2. The Asus O!Play HD2 although as usual with Asus product releases this one is pretty scarce on specifications.

What we do know is the Asus O!Play HD2 comes with a USB 3.0 connections, a couple of memory card slots, andĀ  and eSata port.

Averatec has launched a new netbook, the Averatec N1200, which is one of the thinnest and lightest 10 inch netbooks available. Averatec N1200 Netbook measures less than one inch thick and weighs in at a tiny 2.2lbs.

TiVo Premiere and QWERTY Remote

Tivo unveiled their new TiVo Premiere service last night which is the first TiVo box to use a new Adobe Flash-based interface. The upgraded interface now allows you to view it on HD widescreen displays and shows two seperate screens side by side as you navigate the new menu system.

TiVo Premiere isĀ available in two versions the Premiere with a 320GB of storage, capable of saving upto 45 hours of HD veiwing priced at $300 and the Premiere XL with a huge 1TB or 150 hours of HD storage for $500. There’s also a monthly subscription fee of $12.95 for the service.

Skype Application Now Available On Nokia Symbian Mobile Phones

Skype for mobile phones seems to be getting more popular, the latest company to add the VoIP service to their range of handsets is Nokia with the launch of Skype on their Symbian mobile phones.

AT&T Motorola Backflip Will Feature Yahoo Search

AT&T are about to launch one of their first Google [GOOG] Android powered smartphones in the next few days. Although it looks like this Android handset may be slightly different than previous models released.

Being that the Motorola Flip with AT&T runs on Google’s Android platform you would have though that the default search on the device would be Google. It looks like that isn’t the case and AT&T have decided to use Yahoo as their default search provider.

Archos has launched a new range of portable media players, called the Archos Vision series. There are four models in the Archos Vision range, the Archos A14VG Vision, Archos A15VS Vision, Archos Vision A30VC, and Archos A43VB Vision.

The Archos A14VG features a 1.4 inch display, 4GB of storage and a built in FM tuner, whilst the A15VS Vision is one of Archos’s thinnest portable media players measuring just 6mm thick.
