The boogie is the first paperless writing tablet that has a Reflex LCD as the surface. The writing surface is composed of flexible plastic and is impact resistant. The Boogie Board requires no power and can generate and retain images without electricity.
The Boogie Board LCD tablet was created by Kent Displays and is part of their green initiative to create products that are sustainable and good for the environment.
Many LCD screens have a poor response to pressure but the Boogie is thick and strong enough to hold up under different amounts of pressure. The board shouldn’t break under pressure.
The most obvious benefit of the Boogie Board is that it’s efficient. There is no longer a need to waste paper each day. The board is eco-friendly and eliminates paper consumption. The Boogie board can substitute for note and memo pads. Users can easily erase their writing, and the Boogie should be able to endure about 50,000 erases.
