The Apollo Technical Pen is Machined out of aerospace-grade titanium and marine-grade stainless steel and the Apollo Tri-Scale is Forged from a single solid block of aircraft grade aluminium and has been designed to provide users with a fully functional architect’s scale and a transporter case for your Apollo Pens. Its designers explains a little more:
“The Apollo System was designed to use a variety of interchangeable modules to facilitate drafting, drawing, measuring, or writing needs. You can swap the pen’s color rings to indicate refill color, add a stylus, swap refills, and convert length measurements on the fly. With the right module, you can even transform your pen into a mechanical pencil.
We used different premium materials in different parts of the pen for a purpose. Even after years of handling, the stainless steel will never show signs of wear. The balanced counter-weight of the titanium gives the Apollo an edge over other writing instruments.”
