It is time to announce the winners of this weeks Geeky Gadgets Giveaway, the prize was a fun R2-D2 projection alarm clock. Overall we had a total of 229 entries, which makes this contest out most popular yet, I guess everyone loves R2-D2.

A European manufacturer called iUnika has revealed details of the World’s first solar powered netbook, the iUnikia GYY. The iUnikia GYY is designed to be light weight and energy efficient, and it is designed to be powered by a solar panel on the back of the netbook which charges the internal battery.

We love cakes here at Geeky Gadgets, especially Star Wars ones, the latest Star Wars themed cake is this cool AT-AT Cake. The AT-AT Cake was created by Jennifer Luxmore of Sin Desserts in Providence, RI, as you can see from the photo it looks really good, and the detail is amazing.

Check out this cool lamp from designer Karin Johansson, the Dynamic Lamp. The Dynamic Lamp features a large globe that can be spun around by your hands, inside the globe is a dynamo which converts the kinetic energy into electricity and the light the lamp.

Check out this fun USB flash drive which is made from recycled cardboard. The Recycled Cardboard USB Flash Drive was made by Colin Garceau-Tremblay for his design class, and the flash drives come in a strip of five USB sticks, when you need a new one you just tear one off the strip.
