If you work in an extreme environments or are just looking for a tablet that can withstand a few knocks, the new Xplore Technologies iX104C5 Windows 7 tablet might well be worth a look.
The iX104C5 tablet is equipped with a 10.4-inch XGA display and is powered by an Intel Core i7 620UE 2.13GHz processor and 2GB of RAM which can be increased to a maximum of 8GB if required.
To help with on the move communications the rugged tablet is also fitted with dedicated GPS, Gigabit ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, and a Gobi 2000 mobile broadband card providing you with 3G data connections while out and about. Its also fitted with a hot-swappable 10-cell Li-Ion battery and dual SSD drive capability with RAID support.
