We have been hearing various rumors about the new Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone and now the handsets specs have been confirmed by some benchmarks on GFX Bench.
Xiaomi will be making their new Mi5 smartphone official at Mobile World Congress later this month, this was recently confirmed by the company.
The new Xiaomi Mi5 will come with a 5.7 inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the device will be powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
The handset will also feature an Adreno 530 GPU and it will come with 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of included storage. There will also be another version of the handset with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, both devices will feature a microSD card slot.
We can expect high end cameras on the front and back of the device, the front camera will come with 13 megapixel and the rear camera with 16 megapixels, the device will also come with Android Marshmallow.
Xiaomi are holding the MWC 2016 press conference on the 24th of February, we will have more details on the handset then, including details on the devices full specs and also some photos of the handset.
