Gamers patiently waiting for Microsoft to make available their next-generation Xbox One games console without a bundled Kinect gesture control device. Will be pleased to know that the Xbox One console without Kinect is now available to purchase directly from the Microsoft online store priced at $399.99 from today.
Microsoft announced the the decision to reverse their stance on bundling an their Xbox One console with their Kinect device earlier this year, to help it compete with Sony’s PlayStation 4 console more favourable on price.
Some UK retailers started selling the new Xbox One console without Kinect at the beginning of this month. But officially it will be available from today to purchase in both the US and the UK both in high street stores and online stores.
Microsoft will continue to sell their original Xbox One bundle with a Kinect gesture control device included. But has recently offered game developers the ability to use more Xbox One processing power by accessing the resources that was originally reserved for use by the Kinect device.
