It seems that Microsoft’s next-generation Xbox One games console will soon be supporting PC mice. Enabling gamers to use keyboards, which are already supported in certain situations together with standard PC mouse controllers.
Whilst discussing the new Windows 10 operating system and the new Xbox One gaming streaming feature that is capable of sending Xbox One games directly to your desktop PC.
Microsoft’s Phil Spencer confirmed the arrival when asked about keyboard and mouse support by Xbox fan Leandro G. Barbosa. Spencer replied via a tweet this week confirming that keyboard and mouse support for Xbox are incoming, replying to Barbos saying ”Those aren’t far away,” – “Mouse is what we’d need to add.”
Unfortunately no details on when the support will be rolling out to Xbox One systems has been announced as yet. But with the launch of the new Windows 10 operating system edging ever closer to its July 29th release date, you can expect Microsoft to be rolling out the Xbox mouse support sooner rather than later.
As soon as more information is made available by Microsoft regards the Xbox One mouse controller support we will keep you updated as always.
