Xbox One owners might b pleased to learn that Microsoft has launched a new try before you buy service offering gamers a way to demo an Xbox One game before they make a decision to purchase .
The new service has been highly requested by Xbox One owners and now the new try before you buy Xbox One features enables gamers to download an Xbox Live Arcade title and play it as a free demo.
If the game hits the right areas the title can then be purchased without the need to re-download the game again. Unfortunately at the current time no Xbox One games take advantage of the new service but soon games developers will start to adopt the new service, for games to demo their titles before purchase. Microsoft’s ID@Xbox boss Chris Charla explains a little more:
“In the same way that we update the Xbox One OS every month, they update the development system every month – or regularly, anyway. So that’s something that we recently turned on. I don’t think we’ve seen any ID@Xbox games yet that have shipped with trials, but we may well in the future. It’s something that’s open to everybody.”
“You can expect lots more games coming,”-“There are literally hundreds of ID@Xbox games in development right now.”-“There a lot in development for 2015, and some for 2016, too.”
As more Information on dates supporting the new try before you buy service are made available we will keep you updated as always.
