Following on from last week’s £30 price reduction on Microsoft’s next-generation Xbox One games console. This week GameStop within the UK, are now accepting pre-orders for an Xbox One console bundled with the new Titanfall game for just £369.97.
The latest Xbox One price cut brings it more in line with Sony’s PlayStation 4 games console which has been proving more popular with gamers worldwide when sales figures are compared.
Admittedly the new price reduction is a special promotional price however Microsoft is expected to reduce their Xbox One games console still further to try and compete with Sony’s PlayStation 4. Perhaps the latest price reduction to just under £370 is Microsoft testing the market to see if it proves popular with gamers and attracts more sales.
The Xbox One games console originally launched on November 22nd 2013 and was priced at $499.99 in the US, £429.99 in the UK and 499.99 Euros throughout Europe and $599.99 AU in Australia.
To re-cap the Microsoft Xbox One is powered by a customised AMD Jaguar 8 core processor and is equipped with a graphics processor that is tailored for Direct X 11 graphics. Together with 32MB of high bandwidth embedded ESRAM which is supported by 8GB of RAM.
