Gamers, developers and modders who have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the new Witcher 2 modding tools, REDKit. Will be pleased to know that as from this weekend the beta trials are open and running until September 30th for REDKit.
The REDKit tool developed by RED includes a fully featured game editor which has been specifically designed for creating complex, non-linear adventures, and was on show at the recent Gamescom event.
Over the weekend Adam Badowski from CD Projekt Red explained that: “We have our own vision for RPGs, they should present an exciting story and give players lots of choices that really matter,” – “The REDkit is designed to create adventures that way – mature, non-linear and engrossing stories set in vivid worlds filled with believable characters.”
If you are interested in applying for beta access to the Witcher 2 bet development tools, head over to the CD Projekt Red REDKit website to apply. Beta access will be limited and applicants will be chosen by The Witcher 2‘s development team. Good luck!
