A new minimalist Wire chat app, that has been backed by Skype co-founder Janus Friis has today launched on iOS, Android and Mac systems offering a new fresh approach to mobile communication.
The new Wire chat app has been created to demonstrate what a chat application such as Skype should be like had it been created today, rather than years ago.
The Wire chat app consists of a visually rich, yet clean, minimalist and elegant user interface, to provide users with a “communication experience like no other” say its developers that consist of a team of more than 50 people from 23 countries who explain:
“Write, talk, share pictures, music and video with people on phones, tablets and desktops — Wire is thoughtfully designed. For your every thought.
With Wire you can easily move from messages and pictures to HD voice. Wire’s pristine audio quality makes it feel as if the people you are speaking to are right there with you.
Photos on Wire display beautifully inline, SoundCloud music and YouTube videos blend nicely with text and pictures. So you can share your nicest moments, in the moment. Phone, desktop or tablet — Wire goes where you go. Wire for browsers will be available soon.”
