The other day Microsoft announced that they would be launching Windows 8 on the 26th of October, and now we have a possible launch date for the next version of Microsoft’s mobile OS, Windows Phone 8.
According to a recent report by ZDNET, Microsoft will release Windows Phone 8 RTM (Release to Manufacturing) in September, and the platform will officially launch some time in November.
We can expect to see a number of new Windows Phone 8 devices when it launches in November, we are expecting to see some interesting new devices from Nokia, who are working closely with Microsoft after their Windows Phone partnership.
The November launch date for Windows Phone 8 has yet to be confirmed by Microsoft, although if Microsoft intends to launch Windows Phone 8 RTM in September we would expect some sort of official announcement next month.
