It looks like Microsoft may be getting ready to release their Windows Phone 7.8 update for existing Windows Phone devices, we had previously heard that it would land some time early next year.
Now it would appear that Microsoft may be ready to launch the Windows Phone 7.8 update in China, as Microsoft’s greater China Vice President has told a Chinese publication that the update will be launched in China in the ‘coming weeks’.
There are no details as yet on whether the Windows Phone 7.8 update will be for China only of whether it will be available in the US and Europe at the same time.
As soon as we get some more details on exactly when Microsoft intends to release the Windows Phone 7.8 update for existing devices we will let you guys know.
