
Following on from the leak earlier this week of Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 operating system consumer release, the code within Windows 10 has revealed that Microsoft is planning to launch a new Xbox application for the PC, that is currently being developed.
The latest Windows 10 operating system was examined by the Verge website who has revealed that the software includes a new Xbox application, as you can see in the screenshot above, together with Cortana integration providing users with a personal assistant.
Microsoft is expected to officially announced more details and features included within their Windows 10 operating system during a scheduled January press event and during next years CES 2015 event. However the Windows 10 consumer leaked version reference 9901 that was revealed earlier this week provides an early look at some of the features and enhancements Microsoft is adding to the latest OS.
Microsoft has also added new animations to the TaskView switcher in Windows 10 plan seems to be in the process of removing the well-known Control Panel by updating the systems settings application. As well as removing the settings button from the Charms Bar, indicating that within Windows 10 Microsoft is helping to improve access to the settings within its new operating system.
