Samsung are holding a press event in London later today, they will announce some new Samsung Galaxy devices and some new Samsung ATIV devices, one device we are hoping that will be announced is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
There have been conflicting reports on whether the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be announced today, there are rumors that we may have to wait until IFA in September to see the device, although more evidence of the handsets existence has been revealed over the last few weeks, which could point to an announcement of the Galaxy Note 3 today.
We are expecting Samsung to launch two different versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and one with a Samsung Exynos 5420 processor.
Samsung did this previously with the Samsung Galaxy S4, with different processors being made available in different markets and we are expecting the same thing to happen with the Note 3.
Other rumored specifications on the Galaxy Note 3 include a 5.9 inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, the device will also feature 2GB or 3GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to come with Android Jelly Bean, it could possibly feature the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which has yet to be announced, if not it will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also rumored to feature a new 13 megapixel camera with some advanced camera features that have been developed by Samsung, that may include shutter functions and a new optical image stabilization.
When Samsung announced the Galaxy S4, they also announced a number of flagship features which we are expecting to be available in the Galaxy Note 3. These features come in the form of new eye tracking technology called Smart Pause and Smart Scroll.
We are hoping that Samsung will unveil the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 later today, although we may have to wait until later in the year to see the device. As soon as we get some more details we will let you guys know.
