Will.i.am has announced that he will be launching a new camera accessory for Apple’s iPhone, and it is designed to turn your iPhones 8 megapixel camera into a 14 megapixel camera and also provide an improved flash.

I was just hanging out [after a photo shoot], and one of the models took an iPhone picture, which circulated the planet before the shoot was even over… I took one of the photographer’s lenses and held it up on my [phone] and said “imagine this one day”. Then I said: “I’m going to do this”.”
The new iPhone accessory will be launched in London this week, it will be interesting to see what it is like and how it works to provide 14 megapixel images from your iPhones 8 megapixel camera.
