The Google Nexus 5 is expected to be announced this week, we have already seen a photo of the black Google Nexus 5, and now we have a photo of the white version of the handset which you can see in the second photo below.
The first photo is the official press render of the Google Nexus 5 that briefly appeared on the Google Play Store, the second photo also looks to be a press render of the handset, this was leaked by @evleaks.
There have been a number of rumors on exactly when the Google Nexus 5 will launch, we previously heard a possible launch date of the 31st of October, although there have been rumors of a 1st of November release date over the weekend.
We have heard a number of rumored specifications for the Nexus 5 over the last few weeks, the handset is rumored to feature a 5 inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Nexus 5 is also rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s high ed mobile processor, the quad core Snapdragon 800 with a clock speed pf either 2.2GHz or 2.3GHz.
The device will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat, and will features 2GB of RAM, plus a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage, we already know the pricing on the 16GB model, which will be $349.
The Google Nexus 5 will also feature front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the handset will be a 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls, on the back will be an advanced 8 megapixel camera with OIS.
We are hoping to have more information on the release date of the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kit Kat some time this week, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
