Listening to music on your bike can sometimes be a little dangerous, especially if you are using headphones as they attempt to block out the noises around you making it difficult for riders to hear any incoming dangers.
Divoom is hoping to change this with the launch of a waterproof portable bike speaker called the Voombox-Ongo which has been specifically designed to be used and clamped to the handlebars of your bike.
The small portable Voombox-Ongo speaker weighs just over 14 ounces and measures 5.5 x 2.5 x 3 inches in size and is fitted with an integral mounting bracket and equipped with 1.5-inch neodymium magnet drivers, together with a passive subwoofer radiator that deliver 7 watts of sound.
The bike speaker is also equipped with a rechargeable battery that is capable of providing music for up to 8 hours on a single charge and connects to your smartphone using low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 technology.
The speakers and battery of the Voombox-Ongo are enclosed in a ruggedised waterproof casing that allows you to use it during any weather conditions or terrain, and is now available to purchase for $70 and is available in aqua, lime, red, orange and black finishes.
