Vodafone has just launched two new phones which it claims are the most affordable ultra low-cost handsets to date. The Vodafone 15o retails for $15 and the new 250 retails for $20.
The phones are designed for the developing markets of third world countries, to make them available to large isolated and rural populations.
The Vodafone 150 has a monochrome screen of a more expensive 250 has a built-in FM radio and colour screen. Both support SMS, custom ringtones, phone book connectivity, two games and pay-by-SMS feature for mobile payments.
Unfortunately there is no details of a release date has yet.
