KVgear based in Chicago has created a new Volca-sized mixer for Korg Volcas, small synthesisers and external effects, called the Vixen Mixer. The new mixer launched this week launched via Kickstarter to raise the $15,000 in pledges required to make the jump into production.
With still more than 28 days remaining on their campaign the KVgear team has already raised over half their required goal. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the features and functions of the Vixen Mixer, which is available as a kit from $199 with worldwide shipping expected to take place during December 2017.

Power Specifications:
• External AC-DC power supply included with each mixer. Depending on your shipping address, you’ll receive a mains power cord for USA, UK, or EU wall sockets. Customers with other wall outlet types can purchase their own IEC 320-C7 power cord.
• Internal battery compartment for 6 AA batteries that you provide.
• High capacity, rechargeable external 9 VDC battery attached to the power input jack on the Vixen. You will need an adapter plug with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel plug. Depending upon demand, KVgear might produce an adapter plug.
