VIA ARTiGO A630 Internet Of Things Gateway

VIA has introduced a new Internet of Things gateway it has created Specifically designed for enterprise applications that measures 154.4mm x 27mm x 106.7mm yet still offers a variety of different I/O and display expansion options. Features of the VIA ARTiGO A630 Enterprise IoT Gateway include 1 x HDMI port, 1 x RS-232/485 COM port, 1 x DIO port with support for 8-bit GPIO, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x micro USB 2.0 port, 1 x 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, and 1 x miniPCIe slot.

The IoT Gateway is powered by a 1.0GHz VIA ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core SoC (VIA ARTiGO A630) supporting 2D/3D graphics, Open GL ES 2.0 hardware acceleration and comes with an on-board Micro SD card slot, 4GB eMMC Flash memory, and 1GB DDR3 SDRAM. VIA has also made optional Wi-Fi and 3G wireless modules available, which can be supported through on-board USB pin-headers or the miniPCIe slot. – Powered by 1.0GHz VIA Cortex-A9 dual-core SoC
– Hardware acceleration for smooth 1080p video playback
– Flexible design for IoT wireless gateway
– Support for 3G, Wi-Fi, & BT wireless connectivity
– Fanless and ultra slim low profile (only 2.7cm high)

The ARTiGO A630 features an optimized Android 5.0 BSP or Linux BSP (Kernel 3.4.5) supporting all key onboard hardware features to speed development, deployment and ease system management. The ARTiGO A630 Android 5.0 BSP also includes the VIA Smart ETK comprising a number of APIs, including Watchdog Timer (WDT) for safeguarding against system crashes, GPIO access, COM port access, and a sample app.
