Veebeam HD has been designed to provide an easy solution to streaming your PC display directly to your TV via Wi-Fi. Allowing you to you to enjoy 1080p or 480i PC display mirroring and video “play-to” support to your HDTV via the Veebeam wireless HDMI receiver.
The different between the Veebeam and other solutions is that the Veebeam creates a point-to-point, 150Mb/s wireless connection between the USB Antenna and the receiver unit allow you to stream media without using your home network that might cause a bottleneck for other users.
Both units work with Windows Vista/7 and Mac OS X, but require a computer loaded with an Intel Core 2 Duo or Intel i3/5/7 processor to properly handle pushing a 1080p stream over wireless USB.
The Veebeam is availalble in two models a Veebeam SD edition with 480i streaming costing $99 or the Veebeam HD 1080p for $139,
