Apple has started to sell its new iMac Pro and prices start at $4,999. There will be four different models available, one with an 8 core processor, another with a 10 core processor, a 14 core processor model and an 18 core processor model. The 8 and 10 core models are available from today.
The $4,999 price gets you an 8 core iMac Pro with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage, you can choose from a number of upgrades, including the processor, RAM, storage and more. Yesterday we saw a video of the new iMac in action, we are looking forward to seeing some benchmarks.
If you go for the top specification iMac Pro, things are a little more expensive, the 18 core model with 128GB of RAM, 4TB of Solid State storage and Radeo Pro Vega 64 graphics with 16GB of RAM will set you back $13,199, if you want the Space Gray Magic Mouse and Trackpad the price goes up to $13,348.
