Coming to the end of its crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo the Trek motorised camera slider system created by Scott Matthews based in San Diego, has nearly raised three times its required pledge goal, thanks to roughly 400 backers. Trek has been created to offer the world’s first modular, motorised camera slider system for GoPros, small cameras and smartphones. Watch the video below to learn more about its inspiration, features and modular design.
Trek allows for camera setups up to 1lb in weight for horizontal movement, and up to 8 oz for vertical movement. For continuous motion, Trek can move from 1 inch per minute all the way to 36 inches per minute. Trek Advanced and Night modes introduce stepping functionality, where you can take a shot as slow as 3 feet in 8.5 hours. The development team behind Trek explain more about the camera sliding system.
Our patent pending design allows you to put complete control of the system in your hands via our intuitive and easy to use app, create custom track configurations, and store our entire system easily inside your backpack along with the rest of your gear.
Trek is now available to fund for earlybird backers from $225 with shipping expected to take place during January 2018. For more information, specifications and a full list of all available pledges jump over to the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign page by following the link below.
