Toshiba has added a new notebook to their range with the launch of the Toshiba Satellite U500-1EX., although this new model has some interesting features like a multi-touch LCD display.
The Toshiba Satellite U500-1EX features a 13.3 inch TFT WXFA TruBrite touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, it comes with an Intel Core i3 processor and 4GB of DDR3 RAM.
Other features include a built in web camera with face recognition technology, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bueooth 2.1+EDR, a DVD Super Multi drive and an Intel HM55 Express Chipset, featuring the Mobile Intel HD Graphics.
The Toshiba Satellite U500-1EX will come with Windows 7 Home Premium with Microsoft Touch Pack, it will be available in the UK shortly for £649 about $899, there are no details available on when it will be released in the US.
