Roaming charges a a pain, whenever you travel for business or go on holiday, you end up paying more than you should when using your mobile phone or smartphone.
Good news for customers on UK mobile carrier Three, as the company has announced that is is expanding its free roaming service to five more countries.
We don’t think roaming charges are fair.That’s why we offer all our customers Feel At Home. It lets you use your allowance to call and text the UK and use your data without paying a penny more. From July 1st can use Feel At Home in five new destinations.
The new countries that will get free roaming on Three from the first of July will include Finland, France, Switzerland, Norway and Israel, this make a total of 16 countries where you can use your mobile phone without having to pay roaming charges on Three.
Other countries on the list include Australia, Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Macau, Republic of Ireland, Sri Lanka, Sweden and the United States.
The EU is putting an end to roaming charges, and in a recent ruling they announced that roaming charges in Europe would be abolished by the end of 2015.
