We have seen a few photos of the new Samsung Galaxy S9, now we have some press renders of the handsets. These ones were posted online by Evan Blass and they appear to be official renders from Samsung of the device.
They show some different colors for the new Galaxy S9, Evan Blass has revealed that the handsets are coming in a choice of four colors at launch. The four colors for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray and Coral Blue.
There will apparently be other colors available for special edition versions of the handsets in the future, but the four above are the official launch colors.
We already know many of the specifications on the two handsets. The displays and handsets design is similar to that of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Processing will vary by region and will include a Snapdragon 845 or an Exynos 9810.
The Galaxy S9 will have 4GB of RAM and the S9 Plus 6GB, storage will start at 64GB. Both handsets will feature Samsung’s new high end camera. The S9 gets a single camera and the S9 Plus a dual camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will launch at Mobile World Congress later this month. Samsung are holding a press conference for the handsets on the 25th of February. The handset will go on sale on the 16th of March 2018 and Samsung will start taking pre-orders for the device on the 2nd of March.
