It looks like Samsung will be launching dual SIM versions of their Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones. There were dual SIM version of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus available in some European countries last year and now it looks like the same thing will happen with the S9.
References to a dual SIM version of the handset have apparently been spotted on Samsung’s website in Germany. Samsung will make the handsets official at Mobile World Congress next month on the 25th of February, the devices will go on sale in March
The handsets will have a similar design to the S8 and S8 Plus as we can see in the picture above. Processing will vary by market and will include a Snapdragon 845 or Samsung Exynos 9810. The handsets are rumored to come with 4GB of RAM for the S9 and 6GB for the S9 Plus.
Samsung will introduce a new Intelligent Scan feature, this combines facial recognition and a new iris scanner for improved security. The handsets will also come with Samsung’s new cameras, a single one on the S9 and dual cameras on the S9 Plus.
Samsung are expected to start taking pre-orders for the handsets on the 2nd of March and then the devices will launch on the 16th of March 2018.
