iPhone X

Thieves have stolen iPhone X handsets from outside an Apple Store in San Francisco worth $370,000. The new iPhones were stolen by three thieves from a UPS truck on Wednesday. The truck was delivering 313 units of Apple’s new iPhone to the Apple store.

The total value of the handsets stolen was $370,000, prices for Apple’s new iPhone are $999 for the 64GB model and $1,149 for the 128GB model. According to the police report, each handset were catalogued and had a serial number that could be used to identify the device.

Considering the demand for Apple’s new iPhone X, it is no surprise that criminals see it as an opportunity to make some money. The thieves unloaded the iPhones from their UPS truck and then made off with them in a dodge van. As yet the police have not managed to catch the thieves.

Apple’s new iPhone has gone on sale today and it looks like the Apple Stores are as popular for people trying to get the handset as the online orders were recently. We heard earlier today that shipping times for new iPhone X orders have improved, the handset is now shipping in 3 to 4 weeks.

This new iPhone is expected to be Apple’s most popular to date, despite the high price of the handset and Apple are expecting to see record profits in their next financial quarter.
