We were expecting the new Sony Xperia Z6 smartphone to be announced later in the year, although now it looks like we will not see one.
Sony launched its new Xperia X Series of smartphones at Mobile World Congress this week and now the company has confirmed that it will not launch an Xperia Z6.
Sony confirmed to Uswitch that they will no be releasing a Sony Xperia Z6 handset, you can see a statement from Sony below.
Asked about the possibility of additions to the Xperia Z family, he exclusively told uSwitch: “I can’t comment on the future, but we will not be releasing a Z6.”
We wonder if Sony’s new devices will be released under their new Sony Xperia X range, as soon as we get some more details on what the company has planned we will let you guys know.
