The Tesla Model S is currently available with either a 70 kWh or 90 kWh battery pack and now Electreck has discovered that the company will also launch a new 75 kWh battery pack for the electric vehicle.
The 75 kWh battery pack is currently an option in the Tesla Model X and the company will soon be making it an option on the Model S.
Electreck discovered a new Model S 75D on the CARB (California Air Resource Board) website and has now confined direct with Tesla that the company will offer this new battery pack on the Model S.
The 70 kWh battery pack on the Model S has a range of 234 miles on a single charge, the new 75 kWh battery pack should increase the range to around 250 miles.
Tesla has not provided any details on when this new battery pack will be available as an option on the Model S or how much it will cost, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
