Tesla will unveil their next vehicle in March, the Tesla Model 3 which is expected to take on the likes of the BMW 3 series, Mercedes C Class and the Audi A4.
The new Tesla Model 3 is expected to be considerably cheaper that the company’s Model S, the car may have similar pricing to the BMW 3 series and the Mercedes C Class.
Whilst the new Model 3 will be revealed in March of this year, the company will not reveal all details about their new Sedan until it gets closer to production, this was recently confirmed by Tesla CEO, Elon Musk.
The first pictures of the Model 3 will be end of March” Musk said. “I am being a little coy here, we are not gonna show everything about the Model 3 until a lot closer to production time.”
The new model 3 is not expected to go into production until 2017, so it would make sense for the company not to reveal all the details about the car before it launches, as they would not want their competitors to know all of the specifications on the car before it hits production.
It will be interesting to see what the new Tesla Model 3 is like, if the pricing is right then Tesla could bring electric vehicles to many more customers who would normally buy a BMW 3 series or similar vehicle. As soon as we get some more details about the new electric vehicle from Tesla, we will let you guys know.
