Tempy Wireless Temperature And Humidity Monitoring System

Tempy is a new wireless temperature and humidity monitoring system created by mcThings providing a wireless cloud connected sensor and companion smartphone application that is available for both iOS and Android devices and can even accessed using a browser on your PC. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about Tempy which has this week launched by a Kickstarter to raise the funds it needs to make the jump into production.

Tempy is a low-powerMonitoring and sensor system that reports details about its surrounding temperature, humidity, and air pressure conditions to its owner. Tempy sensors have an impressive 10 year battery life with readings being taken every two minutes. The collected sensor data is sent to the cloud where it’s instantly accessible Either via the smartphone application or a browser.

The temperature and humidity sensor is now available to back via Kickstarter with earlybird pledges available from £71 CAD$129. A full goes well shipping is expected to take place during June 2018 and the sensors can be used both indoor and outdoor as the casing of Tempy is fully weather resistant and capable of working in any environment.

Tempy It is capable of sensing temperatures from -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C) with an accuracy of ± 0.5°F (0.25°C) communities from 0% to 100% with a reading accuracy of ± 3% as well as atmospheric pressure from 300 to 1100 hPa with an accuracy of ± 0.12 hPa. The wireless connectivity range is approximately 1200 m and two AA batteries can run the sensor for up to 10 years.
